What features do I get during the free trial?
Every workspace trial includes Pro-tier features for 7 days. You can experience approval workflows, advanced analytics, AI agent access, and team collaboration. After activating with a code, your workspace runs at the tier of the code you used.
What exactly is a workspace?
A workspace is a self-contained environment for one brand or client. It has its own social accounts, calendar, team, analytics, Brand Assets, and content, completely separate from any other workspace. Your PostMonk account is free and permanent. A workspace is what you activate when you want to keep using it after the free trial.
Can I manage multiple brands or clients?
Yes. Create a separate workspace for each brand or client. Each workspace is fully isolated: its own accounts, calendar, team, analytics, and content. A client in one workspace never sees anything from another. Create as many workspaces as you need. Each one gets its own free trial, and you only pay for the ones you decide to keep.
Is this really a one-time payment? No hidden renewal?
Yes. You pay once for each workspace. There is no monthly fee, no annual renewal, no per-seat billing, and no auto-charge. The code activates that workspace permanently at the tier you choose. What happens if I need more capacity than my plan allows?
You have two options. You can purchase a one-time add-on to extend a specific limit on your existing workspace (extra social accounts, extra team seats, extra Brand Assets, extra AI credits). Or you can upgrade the workspace to the next tier. Both options are one-time payments with no subscription.
What are AI credits and what do they cover?
AI credits are included with every workspace from the moment you activate it. One credit powers one standard AI action: generating a caption, suggesting hashtags, creating alt text, or improving copy. More data-intensive actions like AI Analytics Q&A use 5 credits per query. Credits are non-expiring and your remaining balance is always visible in your workspace settings.
What happens when my AI credits run out?
Every non-AI feature keeps working: scheduling, publishing, analytics, team workflows, Brand Assets, and media. When your credits run out, you have two options. Purchase a one-time credit top-up to add more credits to your workspace. Or connect your own AI provider account (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, or another supported provider) and AI resumes with no cap from PostMonk's side. You pay your provider directly at their own rates.
What does connecting your own AI account mean?
If you have an account with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or another supported provider, you can link it to PostMonk in about 60 seconds by pasting your API key into your workspace settings. Once connected, PostMonk routes all AI usage through your provider account instead of drawing from the built-in credit pool. You pay your provider directly. PostMonk adds nothing on top. This is available on every paid plan and removes the credit limit entirely.
Is BYOK available on Starter, or only on higher plans?
BYOK (connecting your own AI provider key) is available on every paid plan, including Starter. It is not gated to Pro or Agency. Every paying workspace can connect a key from any supported provider and use unlimited AI.
What is the AI agent connection and do I need it?
On Pro and Agency workspaces, PostMonk includes a built-in MCP server that lets AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT take real actions inside your workspace through natural language. For example, you can tell your AI assistant to schedule a post, pull analytics, or approve a draft, and it executes those actions inside PostMonk. This is completely optional. If you do not use AI assistants in your workflow, you will never need it. It has no effect on the rest of the platform.
What is a Brand Asset and why does it matter?
A Brand Asset is a saved profile for one brand inside your workspace. It stores the brand's social accounts, default hashtags, AI writing tone, posting cadence, UTM parameters, and other defaults in one place. When you compose a post and select a Brand Asset, PostMonk fills everything in automatically: accounts selected, hashtags ready, AI writing in that brand's voice. Set it up once and every future post for that brand starts ready to go.
Can my client review and approve content without seeing my other clients' work?
Yes, on Agency workspaces. You can give any client a dedicated login scoped to their workspace only. They can review upcoming posts, approve what looks good, and leave comments on anything they want changed. They never see your other workspaces, other clients, or any internal team notes.
Do you offer a refund if it is not right for me?
