Vista Social earns 4.0 out of 5 in our scoring. It delivers enterprise-class analytics and 13 networks at SMB pricing, and it is genuinely well reviewed. Choose it if you run agency or multi-brand social work from a desktop. Look elsewhere if you schedule from a phone, if X is a primary channel, or if you want one-time pricing. Entry price is $79 per month, and X publishing costs $29 per month on top of every plan.
Disclosure: PostMonk publishes this review and builds a competing social media scheduling tool. Vista Social was scored against the same seven-category rubric we apply to every tool in this category, with no adjustment.
Vista Social Review Scorecard
We rate every scheduling tool across seven weighted categories, scored from the live product, the current pricing page, published documentation, and verified user reviews. The category scores below produce the overall figure.
| Category | Weight | Score | Basis for the score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scheduling and publishing | 25% | 4.0/5 | Slot-based queues, RSS and spreadsheet bulk upload, and reliable desktop publishing. Deductions: no scheduling in the mobile app, and X moved to a paid add-on. |
| Supported channels and integrations | 20% | 4.0/5 | 13 networks, including Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile, plus a hosted MCP server. Deductions: X costs extra, and Instagram Stories are absent from the documented formats. |
| Content creation tools | 15% | 3.0/5 | AI captions, images, and video on every plan. Deductions: credits are metered, and brand training is gated to Advanced. |
| Analytics and reporting | 15% | 4.5/5 | No historical data limit, cross-network sentiment, competitor, and team reports, plus PDF, CSV, and Excel export. |
| Ease of use | 10% | 4.0/5 | G2’s “#1 Easiest to use” badge and fast setup. Deduction: feature density creates a real orientation period. |
| Pricing and value | 10% | 3.0/5 | Strong against enterprise incumbents. Deductions: add-on stacking, and a retroactive cap on legacy lifetime accounts. |
| Support and reputation | 5% | 3.5/5 | Software Advice rates support 4.8/5. Deductions: no phone line, and documented slow or dismissive email replies. |
| Overall | 100% | 4.0/5 |
Verdict: the most complete mid-market social platform you can buy at this price, and the wrong one if your work happens on a phone.
How we score: we rate every social media tool across seven weighted dimensions. The inputs are the live product, current pricing, and verified user reviews. The rubric behind each number is published in our full review methodology.
What Is Vista Social?
Vista Social is an all-in-one social media management platform built for agencies, SMBs, and multi-location brands. It covers publishing, scheduling, inbox management, analytics, social listening, review management, employee advocacy, link-in-bio pages, and AI content creation from one dashboard.
The platform is operated by Vista Social LLC and led by CEO Vitaly Veksler, who also built the predecessor tool Social Report in 2010. Vista Social reports more than 30,000 brands, 3.42 million connected social profiles, and 7.41 million posts published monthly.
G2 recognized Vista Social in 2026 with six category awards. Those awards are Best Results, Best Support, Best Usability, Most Implementable, Easiest Setup, and Best Estimated ROI. They rest on one of the largest review footprints in the category.
Teams researching best social media management tools will find Vista Social positioned as a high-value alternative to enterprise incumbents such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social.
Vista Social Features
Vista Social organizes its functionality into nine core modules. The sections below evaluate each one, including the limits its marketing does not surface.
Publishing and Scheduling
The scheduling system centers on queue-based posting. Each connected profile gets its own time-slot schedule, and posts drop into the next available slot automatically. I set up separate queues for a Facebook page, an Instagram account, and a LinkedIn profile. The system handled each independently without conflict.
Bulk scheduling works from spreadsheet upload, image and video upload, or a linked RSS feed. Vista Social’s publishing documentation describes the time-slot model as “lightning-fast, error-free scheduling,” and in practice the queue does behave that way on desktop.
Vista Social publishes to 13 networks. Those are Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, Snapchat, Threads, Tumblr, Google Business Profile, and Bluesky. The publishing page itself names 11 of those; Google Business Profile and Bluesky appear in the integrations catalog.
X/Twitter users should note this clearly. X scheduling is a paid add-on at $29 per month on every plan, including legacy lifetime accounts. If X is a primary channel, your real starting price is $108 per month on Professional, not $79.
Two format limits are worth knowing before you commit. Instagram carousels are documented at up to 10 images and videos per post, which matches Instagram’s own platform ceiling. Instagram Stories do not appear among the documented Instagram publishing formats, so treat Stories as a manual step.
Smart Inbox and Engagement
The Smart Inbox pulls messages, comments, and mentions from connected profiles into one scrollable stream. It supports conversation view, task assignment to team members, tagging, and notes on each thread. The Zendesk integration passes support tickets from social conversations straight into the help desk.
One boundary matters here, and most reviews miss it. Vista Social’s engagement documentation scopes two-way replies to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The inbox is not a universal reply surface across all 13 networks.
A single G2 reviewer reports slower Facebook and Instagram inbox sync than the near real-time behavior on other networks. That report is uncorroborated, so treat it as a data point rather than a pattern.
Analytics and Reporting
Analytics is Vista Social’s clearest differentiator, and it is the reason this category scores 4.5. There is no historical data limit: everything collected from a connected profile stays in the account for the life of the subscription. I ran a cross-network report across five test profiles and pulled clean data across ranges going back more than a year.
Report types cover social profile performance, post performance, team productivity, competitor benchmarking, and review analysis. Export formats are PDF with white-label customization, CSV, and Excel. Scheduled automated delivery to recipients is also available.
The analytics module tracks 14 sources. Those are Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, Threads, Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and TrustPilot.
Social Listening
Vista Social’s listening module monitors brand mentions, keywords, and competitor activity across five source types. The standout feature is the Convergence Score. It is a proprietary 0 to 100 metric that confirms a trend across several data sources at once. No other tool in this category publishes an equivalent metric.
Internal listening, meaning your own connected profiles, is included on every plan. External listening across the wider web, news, and social is a paid add-on. It starts at $75 per month per listener, per the listening documentation and the live pricing page.
For teams that need serious brand monitoring, that add-on accumulates quickly on top of a base subscription.
AI Assistant and Content Creation
The AI suite is where the gap between Vista Social’s marketing and the entry-plan experience is widest. The AI generates captions, drafts replies, and produces images and short video clips on every plan. It also answers through the Ask Vista conversational interface inside the platform.
The engine is ChatGPT-powered and credit-metered. Professional includes 1,000 AI credits per month, Advanced includes 2,000, Scale includes 3,500, and Enterprise accounts are uncapped.
I gave the assistant a specific brief. The prompt was “Write a LinkedIn post about our Q3 agency results, professional but warm” (tested 2026-08-03). The output was grammatically correct and structurally sound. The core message still needed a full rewrite before it sounded like any particular brand.
Roughly 65 G2 reviewers describe the same ceiling. One verbatim complaint captures it: “limited flexibility in prompting the AI to accurately capture a brand” (G2).
AI Knowledge, which trains the AI on brand documents and website content, is gated to Advanced and higher. On Professional the assistant runs with no brand context at all. Vista Social markets its AI as “a foundation, not bolted on.” On Professional the honest description is a credit-metered ChatGPT wrapper without brand memory.
MCP Server Integration
Vista Social runs a hosted MCP server, and it is a genuine category first. The MCP integration page advertises “50+ tools” across scheduling, analytics, inbox, content, media, and reporting, and its own tool list shows 51. Setup requires no local installation: you copy a connection URL from your dashboard settings into your AI client’s MCP configuration.
Plan gate: MCP access is included with the Advanced plan and higher. The Professional plan does not include MCP access.
Compatible clients are Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Windsurf, Perplexity, Cline, Continue, Make, Zapier, n8n, and Pipedream. White-label customers can expose the MCP server to their own end clients under their own domain.
Two caveats belong next to the marketing. Vista Social’s MCP documentation does not publish rate limits in either direction, so plan for undefined throughput. The page also claims users reclaim “12 hours” every week, and no independent evidence supports that figure.
Review Management
Vista Social pulls reviews from Facebook, Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and TrustPilot into the dashboard. AI-drafted responses and new-review alerts are both included.
Direct replies are narrower than the module implies. You can respond to Facebook and Google Business Profile reviews inside Vista Social. For the other four platforms, Vista Social provides a link out to that platform’s own response page.
A single Software Advice reviewer documents a Google Business Profile display bug, where an inserted photo does not appear on the profile after submission. That is one uncorroborated report.
Employee Advocacy
The advocacy module distributes pre-approved content to employees for resharing. It tracks earned media value through an EMV leaderboard, broadcasts advocacy actions over Slack and email, and includes an AI writer for drafting advocacy posts.
Employee Advocacy is free to try and then costs $199 per month for 25 employees. It is not bundled into any base plan.
Vista Page (Link-in-Bio)
Vista Page is Vista Social’s built-in link-in-bio and microsite builder. It supports custom themes, custom domains, and scheduled posting directly to the page. An existing Linktree setup can be imported during setup.
One limit is easy to miss: each Vista Page counts as one profile against your plan allowance. On Professional, which includes 15 profiles, a Vista Page costs you a social connection slot.
Ease of Use
Vista Social’s “#1 Easiest to use” award from G2 is earned on the basics. Day-to-day scheduling and inbox work are genuinely intuitive. The nuance is that the platform’s depth creates a real orientation period for new users.
Getting Started and Setup
Setup starts with a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card. The onboarding wizard walks through connecting the first social profile, using OAuth authentication for each network.
Roughly 80 G2 reviewers mention a steep learning curve driven by feature density. One Software Advice reviewer puts it plainly: “breadth of functionality feel overwhelming in the beginning.”
Once the layout is familiar, daily workflow is fast. Getting there takes time for anyone arriving from a simpler tool.
Creating and Scheduling a Post
The scheduling flow runs through six steps in the Composer.
-
Open the Composer from the main dashboard.
-
Select the networks or profiles to post to, one or many at once.
-
Write the caption. The Composer shows per-network character limits inline, including the live 280-character count for X.
-
Add media from the media library, a direct upload, or a stock integration such as Unsplash, Pexels, or Giphy.
-
Choose a publish time: immediate, a specific date and time, or the profile’s next queue slot.
-
Submit for approval if workflows are active, or publish directly.
Vista Social describes this as a “simple composer,” and the flow matches the description. The multi-network view lets you see and edit captions for every selected profile at once, which saves real time when customizing per platform.
Using the AI Assistant
The AI assistant runs inside the Composer in four steps.
-
Open the Composer and click the AI assist button.
-
Enter a prompt describing topic, tone, and length.
-
The AI generates a caption draft, drawing from your monthly credit allowance.
-
Edit the output, then schedule or publish.
On Advanced and higher, AI Knowledge lets you upload brand documents and website URLs to train the assistant’s memory. Without that step, which Professional cannot access, you get the base model with no brand context. That single gate explains most of the generic output reviewers describe.
Running Vista Social via MCP
Prerequisite. This feature requires the Advanced plan. That is $149 per month, or $119 per month billed annually.
The setup flow runs in four steps.
-
Open Settings in your Vista Social dashboard.
-
Copy the MCP server connection URL from the integrations section.
-
Paste it into the MCP configuration of your AI client.
-
Confirm the connection and start issuing natural-language commands.
I connected the server to Claude Desktop and asked it to check the last 7 days of analytics for an Instagram profile. I then asked it to schedule a LinkedIn post for the next morning. It completed both through the Vista Social Composer without me opening the dashboard.
Mobile App Experience
Vista Social’s mobile app is a monitoring tool, not a scheduling client. The publishing page’s own promise is narrow and accurate. It offers “access your content calendar, social inbox and reports from anywhere at anytime” (Vista Social publishing page).
The gap opens on the mobile app page, which lists scheduling among the app’s capabilities. When I opened the app expecting to queue a post, the scheduling interface was not there. Creating new scheduled posts and setting up automations both require the desktop app.
Roughly 69 G2 reviewers report exactly this limitation. That makes it the second most frequent complaint about the product. Software Advice corroborates it, noting that “heavy mobile users may find the mobile experience disappointing due to formatting issues” (Software Advice).
If most of your posting happens on a phone, this is the single fact in the review that should decide your answer.
Vista Social Pricing
Vista Social uses a profile-based subscription with four tiers. Billing is monthly or annual, and several paid add-ons materially change the real cost.
Plan Comparison
Four plans scale by profile count and user seats, summarized below.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per month) | Profiles | Users | AI credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Professional | $79/month | $63/month ($758/year) | 15 | 2 | 1,000/month |
| Advanced | $149/month | $119/month ($1,430/year) | 30 | 4 | 2,000/month |
| Scale | $349/month | $303/month ($3,638/year) | 70 | 8 | 3,500/month |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
All figures verified on the Vista Social pricing page on 2026-08-03.
Four feature gates decide which plan you actually need.
-
AI Knowledge brand training: Advanced and higher
-
MCP server access: Advanced and higher
-
White-label reports and dashboard: Advanced and higher
-
Single Sign-On: Enterprise only
The white-label gate carries one exclusion almost no review mentions. Every network can run under a white-labeled dashboard except X, because Vista Social is permitted to offer X integration only on its own main domain. Agencies reselling under their own brand cannot include X in that experience.
The free trial runs 14 days and requires no credit card.
One pricing note: some Vista Social landing pages and Google’s AI Overview reference a Standard plan at $39 per month. That tier did not appear on the main pricing page when we checked it on 2026-08-03. Check the pricing page directly before purchasing.
Add-Ons and the Real Monthly Cost
Base plan pricing excludes three capabilities many teams treat as core. The full add-on stack is short but expensive.
-
X (Twitter) publishing, boosting, automations, and analytics: $29/month on every plan, including legacy lifetime accounts
-
Social listening beyond your own profiles: $75/month per listener
-
Employee Advocacy: $199/month for 25 employees
Real-cost example: a freelancer on Professional who wants X scheduling and basic external keyword listening pays $79 plus $29 plus $75, for $183 per month.
When I priced Vista Social for a client needing X and basic brand monitoring, the headline number stopped being useful immediately. Vista Social’s agency page promises “no per-seat surprises,” which is true, and says nothing about the add-on stack.
Free Trial and Cancellation
The 14-day free trial requires no credit card and opens the full platform.
Cancellation takes four steps. Go to Settings, then Plan and Billing, then the Subscription tab. Select “Cancel subscription and close account.” All account data is permanently deleted on cancellation, so export any reports you need first.
One piece of context matters for a specific group of buyers. Vista Social has no lifetime or one-time pricing today, and the Fair Use Policy retroactively capped accounts that were sold as unlimited. That history is covered in the cons below.
Who Is Vista Social For?
Vista Social’s breadth makes it a strong fit for four buyer profiles, with several clear exceptions.
-
Marketing agencies managing 10 to 70 client profiles: white-label reports from Advanced, approval workflows, scoped client access, and PDF export cover the agency deliverables stack.
-
SMBs and in-house teams leaving Hootsuite or Sprout Social: Vista Social delivers comparable depth at a fraction of enterprise pricing. “Switched from Hootsuite” is the single most common switching reason in its G2 reviews.
-
Multi-location brands: review management, Google Business Profile scheduling, and analytics all sit inside one subscription.
-
Social media managers who need reach: 13 networks, including Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr, and Google Business Profile, without stitching separate tools together.
Who Vista Social Is NOT For
Six conditions make Vista Social the wrong choice. Each one is tied to a documented limit.
-
Mobile-first workflows: the app does not schedule posts or configure automations. It handles analytics, calendar, and inbox only. Roughly 69 G2 reviewers report this.
-
Teams where X is a primary channel: X is a $29 per month add-on on every plan, so your real entry price is $108 per month on Professional.
-
Buyers who want lifetime or one-time pricing: Vista Social offers none, and it has a documented history of retroactively capping accounts sold as unlimited.
-
Professional-plan teams that need on-brand AI: AI Knowledge is gated to Advanced at $149 per month. On Professional the assistant writes without brand context.
-
Teams that connect and disconnect accounts often: roughly 67 G2 reviewers cite integration limits and roughly 60 cite account-linking failures, concentrated on Facebook, LinkedIn, and newly created accounts.
-
Budget-constrained teams needing keyword listening: external listening starts at $75 per month per listener, and high-volume monitoring scales from there.
Vista Social Pros
Seven strengths hold up under scrutiny. Each is tied to a verifiable capability or a verified rating.
-
Analytics that rival tools three times the price. Cross-network reports cover sentiment, competitor benchmarking, team performance, and post analytics with no historical data limit. Export runs to white-label PDF, CSV, and Excel.
-
The widest standard network coverage in the mid-market. Thirteen networks, including Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile, are supported without separate tools for most of them.
-
Desktop scheduling that works exactly as documented. Slot-based queues, optimal timing analysis, spreadsheet and RSS bulk upload, and multiple schedules per profile all behave as described.
-
A unified inbox that genuinely consolidates. The Smart Inbox merges messages, comments, mentions, and review responses into one stream with task assignment and notes. Software Advice reviewers call it “a big time saver.”
-
A real, hosted MCP server on Advanced and higher. It is live, hosted, exposes more than 50 tools, and connects to 12 AI clients with nothing to install. For AI-native teams this is a genuine category differentiator.
-
Price-to-feature ratio that undercuts the incumbents. Listening, analytics, advocacy, reviews, approvals, and white-label reporting arrive at a fraction of Hootsuite or Sprout Social pricing.
-
One of the most-reviewed tools in the category. G2 rates it 4.8/5 across 1,117 reviews, with zero reviews at three stars or below. That review moat is real and current.
Vista Social Cons
Eight limitations are documented well enough to act on. They are ranked by how often buyers hit them.
-
The mobile app cannot schedule. Roughly 69 G2 reviewers report that the app handles analytics, calendar, and inbox only. The mobile app page lists scheduling among its capabilities, which sets the wrong expectation.
-
AI output is generic and hard to steer on entry plans. Roughly 65 G2 reviewers flag “limited flexibility in prompting the AI to accurately capture a brand.” AI Knowledge, which fixes this, is gated to Advanced at $149 per month.
-
X/Twitter costs $29 per month extra on every plan. As of March 2026, X publishing and analytics moved to a paid add-on for all plans, including legacy lifetime accounts. This was a retroactive change to a previously included feature, documented in the Vista Social Fair Use Policy.
-
Account linking and integrations break more than they should. Roughly 67 G2 reviewers cite integration limits and roughly 60 cite linking failures, most often on Facebook, LinkedIn, and newly created accounts. Combined, this is the most-mentioned functional complaint in the review base.
-
Add-on stacking inflates the real monthly cost. Professional starts at $79 per month. A team that also needs X, external listening, and advocacy pays $382 per month or more.
-
Retroactive caps on “unlimited” lifetime deals. Vista Social imposed Fair Use caps on accounts marketed as unlimited and moved X to a paid add-on for legacy buyers. AppSumo reviewers call it “a classic bait-and-switch” and “It was not a lifetime deal.”
-
The learning curve is real. Roughly 80 G2 reviewers mention feature density making the platform hard to learn. One Software Advice reviewer: “breadth of functionality feel overwhelming in the beginning.”
-
No phone support, and email can be slow. Vista Social markets a “fanatical support team,” but publishes no phone number, and email replies can take days. One Software Advice reviewer received “such an unprofessional and nonsensical answer that neither solves my problem nor fits my question.”
User Reviews and Ratings
Vista Social’s aggregate ratings are among the strongest in the category, with one clear exception. The table below summarizes every platform we could verify.
| Platform | Rating | Reviews | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | 4.8/5 | 1,117 | 92% five-star, 6% four-star, 0% at three stars or below |
| Capterra | 4.9/5 | 917 | Shares Gartner’s review network with Software Advice and GetApp |
| Software Advice | 4.9/5 | 917 | Ease 4.9/5, support 4.8/5, value 4.8/5 |
| Trustpilot | 4.2/5 | 680 | Notably lower; the lifetime-deal cohort concentrates here |
| AppSumo | 4.33/5 | 129 | Lifetime-deal buyers; retroactive cap controversy |
Capterra, Software Advice, and GetApp all draw on Gartner’s shared review network, which is why their counts and scores track each other so closely. Read them as one signal, not three.
G2’s zero percent share at three stars or below, across 1,117 reviews, is exceptional for a platform this established. It reflects real satisfaction among recurring subscribers.
The gap between Trustpilot’s 4.2 and G2’s 4.8 is the most informative number on this page. The Trustpilot cohort skews toward lifetime-deal buyers who lived through the Fair Use cap and the X add-on change. Mainstream subscribers report strong satisfaction; the controversy concentrates in one segment.
Four verbatim excerpts capture both sides of the record.
-
“Vista Social is your heaven on earth for all your social media needs.” (G2)
-
“seeing all my messages, comments and responses all in one inbox… is a big time saver.” (Software Advice)
-
“limited flexibility in prompting the AI to accurately capture a brand.” (G2)
-
“heavy mobile users may find the mobile experience disappointing.” (Software Advice)
One social media manager on Reddit’s r/content_marketing sums up the mainstream view: “I pretty much use Vista Social for everything with my client. The workflow is good and the AI features help a lot.”
What’s New in Vista Social (2026)
Four notable additions shipped in the first half of 2026.
-
AI image and video generation. Available on every plan. You can generate images and short video clips inside the Composer without opening an external design tool.
-
Ask Vista conversational assistant. A chat interface inside the platform for querying analytics, drafting posts, and managing workflows by typing requests.
-
MCP server expansion. The hosted server now advertises more than 50 tools, and white-label MCP configuration is available so agencies can expose it under their own domain.
-
DM Automations. A no-code keyword-to-DM builder for Meta and TikTok. You define trigger keywords and a response script, and the automation sends a DM when a comment matches.
Our Verdict
Vista Social earns 4.0 out of 5. It is a well-built, well-reviewed platform that delivers enterprise-class depth at agency and SMB pricing.
Its clearest strengths are analytics depth, network breadth, and the Smart Inbox. Analytics carries no historical data limit, exports white-label PDFs, and reports across networks in one view. The network list runs to 13 platforms. The price advantage over Hootsuite and Sprout Social is substantial and real.
What holds the score below the top of the category is a cluster of documented gaps. The mobile app cannot schedule. AI on Professional is metered and has no brand memory. X costs $29 extra on every plan. Add-ons inflate real cost. Account-linking failures recur across the review base. The Fair Use reversal damaged trust with lifetime buyers.
Vista Social is right for agencies running multiple clients from a desktop, SMBs replacing expensive incumbents, and multi-location brands consolidating reviews and analytics. It is wrong for mobile-first workflows, X-heavy teams expecting X in the base price, and anyone seeking one-time pricing.

Considering an Alternative?
Buyers who want AI-forward scheduling without a recurring subscription have a different shape of option. PostMonk is worth examining alongside Vista Social, and three differences are factual rather than promotional.
-
Lifetime pricing instead of recurring. PostMonk sells one-time workspace codes at $29 Starter, $59 Pro, and $99 Agency, with no monthly fee afterward. Vista Social bills recurring subscriptions from $79 per month.
-
Bring-your-own-key AI on every plan. PostMonk connects your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, or DeepSeek key on every tier, with no credit cap. You pay your AI provider directly. Vista Social runs a credit-metered ChatGPT integration.
-
MCP server on a $59 one-time plan. PostMonk’s MCP server is included with Pro at $59 once. Vista Social’s MCP requires Advanced, at $119 to $149 per month on an ongoing basis.
Vista Social is genuinely better in three areas. It reaches 13 networks against PostMonk’s 9, and its analytics and listening modules are deeper. Its review base is also far larger and independently verified. For a detailed side-by-side, see PostMonk vs Vista Social.

FAQs
Is Vista Social worth it?
Yes, for agencies and SMBs replacing expensive incumbents such as Hootsuite. The feature depth at this price is hard to match in the mid-market. The fit is weaker for mobile-first workflows, because the app cannot schedule posts. X-heavy teams should budget an extra $29 per month on every plan.
How much does Vista Social cost?
Vista Social starts at $79 per month on Professional, or roughly $63 per month billed annually at $758 per year. That plan includes 15 social profiles and 2 users. X publishing adds $29 per month, external social listening adds $75 per month per listener, and employee advocacy adds $199 per month.
What is Vista Social used for?
Vista Social is used for scheduling and publishing across 13 networks. It also runs a unified social inbox, analyzes cross-network performance, monitors online reviews, manages employee advocacy programs, and handles social listening. Agencies additionally use its link-in-bio builder, Vista Page, and its white-label reporting.
Who owns Vista Social?
Vista Social is operated by Vista Social LLC, founded and led by CEO Vitaly Veksler. Veksler also built the predecessor tool Social Report in 2010. The company reports serving more than 30,000 brands with 3.42 million connected social profiles.
How does Vista Social compare to Hootsuite?
Vista Social offers comparable depth in listening, analytics, approvals, and white-label reporting at a fraction of Hootsuite’s pricing. Hootsuite is stronger for large enterprise teams that need formal SLAs and dedicated account support. Vista Social wins on price-to-feature ratio for agencies and SMBs, which is the most common reason its reviewers cite for switching.
Does Vista Social have a mobile app?
Yes, with significant limits. The mobile app covers analytics, calendar viewing, and inbox monitoring. Creating or scheduling new posts and configuring automations both require desktop access. Roughly 69 G2 reviewers report that mobile scheduling is missing, which makes it the second most common complaint about the product.
What are the most common Vista Social complaints?
Four complaints dominate the G2 review base. Feature density creates a steep learning curve, at roughly 80 mentions. The mobile app cannot schedule, at roughly 69 mentions. Integration limits draw roughly 67 mentions, and account-linking failures roughly 60. AI output being generic draws roughly 65 mentions.
Is Vista Social’s X/Twitter integration included?
No. X publishing, boosting, automations, and analytics cost $29 per month on top of every Vista Social plan. The change took effect in March 2026 and applies retroactively to legacy lifetime accounts. X is also the one network that cannot run under an agency’s white-labeled dashboard.
Can I cancel Vista Social easily?
Yes. Go to Settings, then Plan and Billing, then the Subscription tab. Select “Cancel subscription and close account.” All account data is permanently deleted on cancellation, so export any reports or analytics you need before confirming.
